Where I come from

I come from a military family on both sides, so mission has never been an abstract word to me. I grew up understanding that the people doing the work carry the weight of the plans other people make.

My career started in human services and high-volume technical support, the seats where you learn fast what a broken process costs a real person. From there I moved into business analysis, platform administration, and Agile delivery. At Concept Solutions I managed a five-person federal technical support team. At Affinity Corp I led teams across the United States and Canada.

Recent work

For more than four years I’ve worked on site supporting Navy OPNAV and NAVAIR modernization as a Naval Program Analyst and Senior Technical Project Lead. I served as the delegated day-to-day delivery lead for OPNAV-GPT, coordinating 10+ workstreams to scale a secure AI pilot from 250 users to more than 7,200 across NIPR and SIPR. I also governed the AMP-DP / Naval LIFT move of 1,000+ assets into SharePoint Online, with an estimated $100K+ in annual licensing savings.

What this means for a program

Most programs hire a delivery lead, a platform owner, and an adoption lead, then lose work in the gaps between them. I’ve done all three jobs, often on the same program, so requirements don’t get lost between the backlog, the tools, and the users.

I translate between engineers, leadership, and end users without losing the detail that matters, and I raise it early when a process, platform, or plan no longer serves the mission.

Beyond the day job

I am also a writer and book editor, which is why I treat plain language as a delivery tool. I also volunteer with Veterans Forge, which provides free AI training to veterans and service members.

I hold an active Top Secret clearance and am certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP)®, Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I), AI-Empowered SAFe® Agilist, AI-Empowered SAFe® Product Owner/Product Manager, and ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC).

How I work

The Constellation Method

Step 01

Map the sky

Discovery

Identify every owner, system, data source, and user group. Stalled programs are usually missing a stakeholder, system, or dependency no one has mapped.

Step 02

Draw the lines

Workflow and governance

Build governed workflows in Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint with clear ownership and clean handoffs between teams.

Step 03

Light the path

Adoption

Deliver onboarding, training, communications, and support, with a feedback loop that turns user friction into backlog items.

Step 04

Hold the orbit

Sustainment

Establish metrics, governance, and documentation that keep the capability running after launch and through personnel rotation.
